Eight Days of Luke drabble [07 Nov 2009|05:27pm]

kattahj
I wrote this drabble as a present for bookelfe and thought I'd share it in case there are any more DWJ fans who are into this sort of thing. :-)

"You can't make me go out like this," David said.

Luke finished putting on lipstick and rolled his eyes. "Anyone would think it's the first time you've worn a dress."

"It is!"

"Really? Then it's certainly about time!"

David grimaced, and watched Luke's surprisingly shapely legs in the mirror. "It's all right for you. You actually look like a girl in those clothes." And how any red-haired boy could look so good in a revealing pink dress was beyond him. "I look like a freak."

"You're beautiful," Luke said with a grin. "You should have seen Thor."

This I wrote as one of a series of randomly prompted drabbles a long time ago. It doesn't have much of a point, I just sort of coughed it up and thought it was ok.

Title: Butterflies
Challenge: -
Rating: PG
Background information: Post-Eight Days of Luke, vaguely Luke/David slashy. Exactly 100 words, too.
Drabble: "Just kindle a flame and I'll be with you"

The wizard Brothers and Sisters of Archer's Goon must have had a really interesting childhood. To say nothing of their parents. What sorts of things do you think went on?

Pick an obscure world mentioned in the Chrestomanci or Deep Secret/Merlin Conspiracy books and write something odd about it.

Everybody else can try and guess what the drabble is referring to!

A Janet Drabble [12 Nov 2005|09:37pm]

Yeap, I'm in a drabbly mood lately. You should see what I've been doing to the Artemis Fowl fandom.

Title: Sister
Rating: PG
Words: 115 (at its height it was 159, so I've now given up)

When Janet was two-years-old she had an imaginary friend named Lucy. Such evidence of loneliness can not be ignored by concerned parents, so, against their gynaecologist’s advice, they tried to give her a sibling.

Janet at ten was secretive and alone; a smothered only child.

Janet was edging on puberty when she gained a brother. She smiled, she teased him, she ruffled his hair - then laughed and hugged him when his magical retaliation when awry.

Cat is her brother, always.

Unfortunately, when he chokes a sob upon waking, she leans over and touches his forehead, his eyes open… and the sob is caught in his Enchanter eyes, sometimes he thinks she is his sister.

Three Millie drabbles and one Millie doubledrabble [08 Nov 2005|06:27pm]

blueyeti
[ mood | accomplished ]

Although these drabbles were the brainchildren of one question (why does Millie go to Church in Charmed Life?) they aren't a particular 'series' and so the chronological order is just for the sake of neatness.

Title: Being Alone
Rating: G
Words: 200

Millie Loses ReligionCollapse )

Title: Being Polite
Rating: G
Notes: I used ‘G-d’, which is usually a Jewish affection not an Anglican one, because I felt it was more polite for Asheth to do so, as well as it being rather pretentious. And I giggled to think of someone saying ‘Oh, hello, G-d’.
Words: 100

Millie Gets ReligionCollapse )

Title: Being Politically Correct
Characters: Millie, Christopher
Rating: G
Words: 100

Roger Doesn't Get ReligionCollapse )

Title: Legacy

WHERE DID icecreamflavors go?!!!.

It looks like she's handed over all the mod privileges to me and gone poof! So, maybe she just got disenchanted with LJ, but I need to change the email in the userinfo if I'm running the show now! Eep!

Anyone know? Anyone? Bueller?
